ScoreLoop Privacy Policy

ScoreLoop ("the app") is a cricket scoring app. This page explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's used.

No accounts, no sign-in

ScoreLoop does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name, email, or any personal identity information to use the app. Access to a match is controlled by a match code and a scorer token stored on your device — not by a user identity.

Match data

When you create or score a match, the following is sent to and stored on our backend servers so the match can be scored and followed live:

• Team names and, if you use Detailed Mode, individual player names you enter
• Ball-by-ball scoring data (runs, wickets, overs, extras)
• Match settings you choose (overs, player counts, rules toggles)

This data is only associated with the match itself, not with any personal identity — we don't ask who you are. It's used solely to run the live scoring and scorecard features. Match data is retained on our servers to support ongoing and historical match viewing.

Data stored on your device

The app stores match codes, scorer tokens, and your app preferences (like theme) locally on your device using standard local storage. This lets the app remember which matches you've created or joined without needing an account.

Early access

While ScoreLoop is invite-only, requesting early access happens over WhatsApp, not through this website. If you message us, we ask for the email linked to your Play Store or Apple ID account so we can add you as a tester on Google Play / TestFlight. That email isn't stored on our servers — it's only used with Google/Apple to grant you testing access.

Advertising

ScoreLoop shows ads via Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, general device information, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads, and — depending on your device's ad settings — to personalize the ads you see. This data collection is performed by Google, governed by Google's Privacy Policy, and is not something ScoreLoop itself has access to or stores.

You can control ad personalization through your device's system settings (e.g. "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android, or Tracking permissions on iOS).

Requesting deletion

To request deletion of any data associated with you — an email you sent us via WhatsApp for early access, or match data (team/player names, scores) — email support@scoreloop.in and we'll remove it, usually within a few days.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't automatically collect your name, email, or phone number through the app or website — early access is a direct conversation you start with us, not a form that stores your details.
• We don't share match data with anyone beyond what's needed to run the app and serve ads as described above.

Children's privacy

ScoreLoop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
